**Host / Hostess**

As a Host/Hostess with Cathedral Social Hall, you will be an ambassador for the exceptional service and cuisine that are hallmarks of our guest experience. Your warm, personal attention will provide a memorable first impression for guests of our Social Hall, making them feel welcome and valued.

**Summary of Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Provide warm greeting and welcome all guests to the restaurant
- Coordinate seating arrangements by planning ahead and anticipating fluctuations in business
- Seat guests in an organized fashion to maintain service flows for the Servers
- Adhere to all Cathedral Social Hall environmental policies and initiatives
- Adhere to the Health and Safety policies and procedures outlined in the Health and Safety Program
- Conduct frequent inspections of the dining areas, reporting any deficiencies in equipment or aesthetics to the Manager

**Qualifications**:

- Ability to maintain high service levels under pressure
- Demonstrates initiative, and the ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Self-motivated, with the ability to make effective decisions

The Cathedral Social Hall is proud to offer a Saskatchewan Beer Experience like no other. We've completely revamped well-known watering holes in Regina and Saskatoon into a beer-hall atmosphere. We have 30 temperature controlled beers on tap as well as next-level pub food. As a local business, we're honoured to be part of the Cathedral and Downtown YXE eat and drink local movement. We strive to support other local businesses including our beer and food partners.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed
