**Position**: Design Sales Consultant

**Reports to**:Founder and President

**Position Summary**

This Design Sales Consultant is accountable for providing both in-showroom Sales as well as Business Development and Marketing support to the Founder & President.

Design Experience and Passion is a must as we provide European Made Curated Luxury wood floors to Toronto's top Interior Designers, Architects and Custom Builders. This position is critical in creating brand awareness, particularly in the interior design & construction industry and consulting in our showroom to a high-end clientele.

**ACCOUNTABILITY**:

- Perform Showroom Sales & Outbound Business Development activities for Designer Luxury Hardwood Flooring Showroom in the Castlefield Design District
- Meet in Showroom, Prospect and Call on interior designers, architects, and Custom Luxury Builders to introduce our product & service benefits and advantages
- Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and networking with associations to promote product
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating issues, developing solutions, and preparing reports
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending education workshops, reviewing industry publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in manufacturing associations
- Maintain great client relationship and rapport and ability to deal with unique requests for clients in a professional and timely manner

- Outstanding Problem Solving & Resiliency with a passion for Design and Sales Sucess.
- Proven Canadian Design/Interior Finishes Sales Experience
- Understanding of Interior Design & Colour theory
- History of generating sales and or providing Marketing sales support with proven track record
- Great relationship builder who establishes strong alliances with trades and vendors
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management skills with ability to handle high volume of activity
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office 365 (Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook, OneNote, etc)
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, Digital Marketing Creative Apps and Rendering Applications such as Sketch-up & 3DMax would be considered an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Weekends as needed
