H.J. Baker is currently seeking a Transloader to support our Strathcona sulphur melting facility. We strive to create a work environment that is productive and profitable as well as challenging and enjoyable.

The facility is a 24-hour operation in which operator shifts will consist of 7 days on and 7 days off.

Operator duties include but are not limited to:

- All aspects of safety and regulatory compliance
- General maintenance on site.
- Ensuring optimization of production
- Coordinating outside services and providing direction
- Operating heavy equipment (Front End Loader, Skid-steer, Rail Car Mover)
- Filling hoppers with crushed sulphur
- Loading liquid sulphur into trucks and railcars

H.J. Baker offers competitive benefits and compensation upon completion of a 3-month probation period.
- Possession of a valid H2S and First aid certification
- Possession of a valid Driver’s License
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Physical ability to perform each aspect of the job
- Mechanical aptitude
- Strong troubleshooting skills
