**Position Overview**

We are currently seeking a **Bakery Clerk** to join our **Rosedale** location. This position plays a key role in supporting our Bakery Manager and ensuring our bakery department is well-stocked, visually appealing, and offers a best-in-class customer experience. **Key Responsibilities**
- Stock, rotate, and display bakery products on the retail floor
- Build attractive and shoppable visual displays aligned with brand standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of bakery shelves, displays, and workspaces
- Receive bakery deliveries and ensure timely restocking of items
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate reordering needs
- Support inventory management systems and processes
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers in selecting products
- Respond to inquiries and share product knowledge with enthusiasm
- Act as a direct support to the Bakery Manager in daily department operations
- Report and address safety concerns or hazards as they arise
- Perform general cleaning and maintenance duties as needed
- Other retail duties as assigned

- Previous retail, grocery, or food industry experience is an asset
- Experience with inventory processes or merchandising is a plus
- Ability to take direction, learn quickly, and grow within a team
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks
- Comfortable working in cooler environments and moving between refrigerated spaces
- Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and short-notice coverage
- Tech-savvy and willing to learn internal systems (ERP, inventory)
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred

- Entry-level pay starts at **$17.20/hour**, with potential increases based on skills and experience
