This role is based out of Kakabeka, ON.

What you will be doing:

- Utilize appropriate surveyor equipment, software and systems to efficiently perform duties.
- Read and interpret construction drawings.
- Perform accurate layout work.
- Coordinate surveying activities with the assigned engineer to meet the construction requirements.
- Support and promote the company’s Quality Assurance and HSE Program.
- Other duties as required.

What we are looking for:

- A minimum of 3 years experience working in construction environment.
- A solid understanding of surveying equipment including GPS, total stations and data collectors.
- A strong knowledge of software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Microsoft Office.
- Experience in working in a unionized environment and within terms of a collective agreement(s).
- Knowledge of standard Healthy, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements and practices in the construction industry.
- .FI-FO available and Camp accommodations.
