Job Overview:
Join our dynamic team at Joseph Haulage, a leading company in trucking bulk materials across Canada and the United States. We are currently seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable Clerk to support our finance department. This position offers opportunities for growth and development within a fast-paced and expanding organization.

**Duties**:

- AP, collect and process all invoices, process EFT/Wire payments and cheque runs.
- Perform monthly vendor reconciliations.
- Prepare credit card, accruals and prepaids entries.
- Review and process expense reports for staff.
- Prepare various bank reconciliations, accruals, prepaids and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare HST returns
- Assist with month end processes.
- Assist with forecasting cash flows and overall expense management

**Experience**:

- Minimum 5 years of AP, AR, or general bookkeeping experience.
- Experience with Quickbooks, Sage or other accounting software is required.
- Strong computer literacy with advanced skills in Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to manipulate large volumes of data would be an asset.
- Attention to detail and exceptional planning and organizational skills.
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
- Understands the importance of ‘pitching in’ and that no job is too small.
- A can-do attitude.
- Results oriented and critical thinking - a high sense of ownership is a must.

- Ability to take initiative, embrace challenges and thrive in an ever-evolving workplace.
