**Job Summary**
**Duties**
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks while adhering to dietary restrictions
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, including tidying up after meals and playtime
- Provide assistance with homework and educational tasks as needed
- Offer support for children with disabilities, ensuring their needs are met with patience and understanding
- Implement daily routines that include playtime, nap time, and outdoor activities
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns
- Ensure the safety of children at all times, including knowledge of first aid procedures
**Requirements**:
- A recent Criminal record check with vulnerable people area required, no exceptions
- 3 non-related references regarding your experience with children also a requirement, no exceptions
- Proven experience in childcare or nannying
- Strong skills in infant care, toddler care, preschool experience, and overall caregiving
- Ability to prepare meals and snacks that are healthy and appealing to children
- Familiarity with first aid practices is highly desirable
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with families
- A nurturing personality with a genuine love for working with children
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Work Location: In person
