**Service Manager**
Winnipeg, Manitoba

Leo’s Sales & Service is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Service Manager to oversee the operations of the Service Department. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers, manages service workflow and documentation, and works closely with the Shop Foreman to ensure service work is scheduled, communicated, and completed efficiently. The Service Manager plays a key role in customer satisfaction, service profitability, and smooth day-to-day operations.

**As the Service Manager you will**:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Service Department, ensuring workflow is efficient, profitable, and customer-focused
- Manage the intake of service calls, work order creation, and scheduling in coordination with the Shop Foreman
- Monitor service tickets to ensure timely completion and high-quality results, resolving issues as they arise
- Maintain strong communication with customers regarding service status, estimates, and resolution of concerns or complaints
- Collaborate with the Shop Foreman to assign work, prioritize jobs, and optimize technician efficiency
- Track department performance metrics, including labour efficiency, warranty submissions, and service profitability
- Ensure service processes, policies, and documentation are up to date, including service library bulletins and shop records
- Promote and enforce workplace health, safety, and compliance standards across the department
- Partner with Sales and Branch leadership on timely and cost-effective reconditioning of used equipment
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, sharing best practices and streamlining service processes
- Represent the Service Department in a professional and ethical manner, fostering a positive, team-oriented work environment

**You and Your Experience**:

- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Service Manager, Service Advisor Manager, or similar supervisory/management level within a service department or dealership environment
- Proven experience managing service operations, including taking customer calls, writing service orders, and overseeing service ticket flow
- Strong understanding of service department workflows and the ability to coordinate closely with a Shop Foreman and cross-functional departments
- Demonstrated ability to manage service-related performance, efficiency, and profitability
- Excellent customer service, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to analyze and interpret service reports and operational metrics
- Proficiency with MS Office products
