**General Manager - Flooring Distribution**

The Company is a small dynamic flooring distributor with operations across Canada and in the US. The GM will optimize the company's operating capabilities, employ strategies to maximize customer satisfaction and manage marketing initiatives. The GM will assist in compiling the company's budget, and employ strategies to safeguard assets and stock. You will team up with management to implement business strategies. You will oversee our company’s operational processes to ensure superb customer experience. Reporting to the COO the GM will support customers, Sales Representatives and management team with daily tasks and achieving sales targets.

**Operations**
- Driving the company’s operating capabilities to surpass customer satisfaction and retention, and company goals.
- Assessing and implementing improved processes and new technologies, and collaborating with management regarding the implementation of these improvements.
- Delegating responsibilities to ensure staff members grow as capable participants.
- Assisting warehouse and logistics through new initiatives including inventory management
- Completing performance reviews in a prudent manner.

**Marketing**
- Manage the Twitter, Facebook and digital marketing platforms
- Understand the websites and ensure they are up to date
- Be aware of market opportunities and ensure a presence is there
- Overseeing marketing initiatives and implementing better business practices.
- Attend trade shows and represent the company at business events

**Order Desk & Logistics**
- Understand the order desk process in order to provide back up support
- Provide customers with product information and understand their needs
- Help resolve any customer related issues

**GM Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
- Five years experience managing human resources, finances, operations and strategies.
- Outstanding verbal, written and computer skills, and experience working with staff on all levels.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $80,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
