**HR Business Partner - Operational Transformation**

In this highly visible role, you will be responsible for providing strategic and hands-on consultative support in all areas of strategic human resources. Partnering with other People & Culture centres of expertise as required, you will play an integral role in various Operational Transformation initiatives including workforce planning, restructuring, talent management, compensation strategies, employee relations, engagement and retention. Working with mid and senior-level leadership teams, you will guide them through all people related matters, establishing People & Culture as a strategic partner.
**What you’ll need**:
- A diploma or degree in Human Resources plus a minimum of five (5) years’ progressive and/or senior experience in human resources in a unionized environment, or an equivalent combination of training and experience
- CHRP or working towards HR certification is considered an asset
- Prior experience as a Human Resources Business Partner or a senior level HR Generalist is essential
- Comprehensive knowledge of current HR best practices, methodologies, systems and tools
- Strong understanding of employment legislation
- Innate ability to build effective working relationships with mid to senior level leaders, based on trust, transparency and collaboration
- Ability to exercise good judgment, initiative, tact, diplomacy and discretion, and to work effectively with highly sensitive/emotionally charged people and situations
- Ability to adapt and be flexible to changing priorities and manage a demanding workload
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable in leading, executing and making recommendations

As a condition of employment at E-Comm, the required Police Security Clearance applicable to the position must be acquired and maintained. This is a process carried out by our law enforcement partner agencies, facilitated by E-Comm. The minimum residency in Canada to qualify for this position, as established by our law enforcement partner agencies, is roughly 3 to 5 years.
E-Comm offers a competitive salary of between $96,391 to $118,721 and an excellent benefits package. This position is based in Vancouver with the opportunity for hybrid working arrangements. As an integral part of BC’s emergency services, E-Comm has a Covid-19 vaccination policy in effect with requirements for all current and future employees_._
