We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving a safety-first company culture across all business units, conducting weekly meetings with respective business units, and providing HR guidance to line management when appropriate. The HR Business Partner will also analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the leadership team to develop solutions, programs, and policies, manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, and maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees.Responsibilities:Participate in driving a safety-first company culture across all business unitsConduct weekly meetings with respective business unitsConsult with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriateAnalyze trends and metrics in partnership with the leadership team to develop solutions, programs, and policiesManage and resolve complex employee relations issuesConduct effective, thorough and objective investigationsMaintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliancePartner with the legal department as needed/requiredMaintain workplace OSHA workplace injuries logs and reportsEnsure all new hire and on-going employee safety training is completed in a timely manner and documentedProvide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retentionProvide HR policy guidance and interpretationDevelop policy guidelines for new hires, promotions, and transfersAssist employees with workplace issues and related HR mattersProvide guidance and input on business unit restructuring, workforce planning and succession planningDevelop an effective talent recruitment program to ensure staffing levels are achieved and maintained to drive the business workforce requirementsIdentify training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needsParticipate in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure successPerform other related duties as assignedRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources, or related fields of studyMinimum of 10 years of experience resolving complex employee relations issuesWorking knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment lawsMust have demonstrated experience implementing and working with HRIS systemsSHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP)/PHR/SPHR or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential or ability to obtain certification within one year of employmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal and customer service skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policiesAbility to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization’s hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factorsExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareThe HR Business Partner will report to the CEO and will be responsible for providing guidance and input on business unit restructuring, workforce planning, and succession planning. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for developing an effective talent recruitment program to ensure staffing levels are achieved and maintained to drive the business workforce requirements. #J-18808-Ljbffr
