**Site Supervisor Position - Asbestos Abatement and Demolition Industry**

We are currently seeking a dedicated Site Supervisor to oversee and ensure the smooth operation of our abatement and demolition projects. **Position Overview**:As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of asbestos abatement and demolition projects. Your primary goal will be to ensure that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all regulatory requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct daily abatement checks to ensure all areas are safe and compliant before work begins.
- Lead pre-job start meetings to discuss safety, project goals, and daily tasks.
- Ensure all regulatory paperwork is complete and accurate, including permits, safety logs, and incident reports.
- Assist on-site by providing guidance and support to the team, stepping in to help with tasks as needed.
- Monitor project progress, addressing and resolving issues promptly.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed, conducting regular site inspections and audits.
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, and team members to ensure smooth operation.
- Train and mentor new staff, promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

**Qualifications**:

- 2-3 years of experience in asbestos abatement and demolition or a related field.
- Level Three WorkSafeBC license.
- Strong understanding of industry regulations and safety standards.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to problem-solve and make decisions quickly and effectively.
- Physically capable of performing the job tasks, including lifting, bending, and working in various environmental conditions.
