**Key Ways This Position Makes An Impact**

The Pharmacy Services Analyst assists in research and analysis that supports recommendations about best practices for pharmacy services including drug management techniques, drug policies, formulary design, cost containment, analyzing drug data for employers to help guide plan design and benefits offerings.

In this role you would provide direct support to plan members and clients by providing efficient and customer-focused resolution of disputed claims.

This role requires the knowledge maintenance of pharmaceutical and public payer policies through continuous learning.

You would conduct research and analysis in this role to recommend best practices to PBC to improve overall effectiveness of plans and to ensure PBC remains cost effective and competitive.

In this role, you would act as a resource to internal departments analyze and explain usage trends, industry news and trends, and legislative changes.

This role also contributes to internal process changes for drug plan management.

**Key Experiences You Bring To This Role**
- Minimum 3 years’ community pharmacy or hospital pharmacy experience or experience in a setting that requires a strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products
- Experience as a Regulated Pharmacy Technician in BC, Pharmacist, or Pharmacy Assistant
- Proficiency with MS Office, including intermediate level Word, Excel and PowerPoint
