Are you ready to make an impact this summer while building real-world skills in **research, innovation, community engagement**, and **project coordination**?

Guru Nanak Institute of Global Studies (GNI) is offering **three full-time paid summer positions** designed to give post-secondary students meaningful, career-building experience across Canada’s most in-demand fields.

**1. Academic Innovation Associate**_**(Research & Digital Learning Support)**_
- Support senior management and professors on educational research projects, assist in co-developing micro-courses, and contribute to curriculum design. You’ll also support some outreach and basic digital content tasks to promote academic initiatives.
- **Key Skills Developed**: Research methods, content writing, digital learning tools, academic support, and light digital marketing.

**2. Impact & Innovation Coordinator**_**(Project Management & Social Impact)**_
- Assist in designing and implementing education-focused projects that tackle real-world challenges like equity, technology access, and sustainability. Use AI tools, Trello, and other platforms to help organize, track, and present outcomes.
- **Key Skills Developed**: Leadership, collaboration, community engagement, digital task management, strategic communication.

**3. Admin & Operations Assistant**_**(Administration, Scheduling, Tech-Enabled Support)**_
- Help GNI team stay organized and efficient. Assist with scheduling, data entry, internal communication, office coordination, and tech-supported processes for operations and student services.
- **Key Skills Developed**: Time management, office tools (Google Workspace, Excel), admin workflows, organizational systems, and service coordination.

**Eligibility Criteria**:

- Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
- Must be enrolled in a post-secondary program and returning to studies after summer.
- Interest in education, business, community development, or technology is an asset.

**Job Type**: Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 4 months

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
