**General Description**: A janitor is generally responsible for the cleaning of all hard floor surfaces and carpets, washrooms, common areas, offices, and the collection and removal of garbage from drop points to a garbage bin. Other responsibilities could be included.

**Responsibilities**:

- Cultivate a culture that promotes inclusion, innovation, productivity, and collaboration.
- Build strong relationships, listen intently, and utilize clear & transparent communication.
- Participate in all training as required.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations as outlined by the Company.
- Empty garbage and recycling containers, replace liners, and transport garbage/recycling to collection points.
- Ensure washrooms and kitchens/kitchenettes are fully cleaned including: clean/disinfect and polish fixtures and appliances as applicable, door handles, walls, mirrors, countertops, partitions, waste receptacles and floors.
- Replenish supply of consumables such as: toilet paper, hand towels, soap, sanitizer, etc.
- Dust furniture, pictures, chairs, door trim, light fixtures, and other horizontal surfaces.
- Wash glass in interior/exterior doors, partitions, and perimeter windows as applicable.
- Sweep/dry mop and damp mop hard surface floors and vacuum carpeted areas and matting as applicable.
- Spot clean walls, doors, kick plates, etc. removing marks and smudges from vertical surfaces.
- Clean stairwells and elevator(s) as applicable.
- Report any damaged or broken utilities to the supervisor.
- Additional duties as required.

**Requirements**:

- Must be able to take direction, to work with mínimal supervision, and to function cooperatively as part of a team.
- Attention to detail, a pride in delivering excellent service, organization, and high levels of energy and endurance.
- Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment.
- Dependable and have reliable transportation.
