**Maintenance Technician**

Responsibilities include:

- Perform safe & efficient inspections, repairs, and ongoing maintenance of industrial equipment (including but not limited to lifting equipment, steel moulds, mobile equipment and other tools & machinery)
- Fabricate, install, and/or repair parts and equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance work and inspections
- maintain a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for tracking work orders, plant equipment, maintenance history, inventory levels, and preventative maintenance
- organize and oversee all contractor activity
- Monitor supplies and equipment required to perform maintenance work and replenish inventory
- Mechanical experience considered an asset
- Basic electrical knowledge is an asset
- Welding & fabricating experience an asset
- Demonstrated ability to work with MS Office Suite of products
- Comfortable working within a manufacturing environment
- Willingness to work as a team player and assist others as needed
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic, with a focus on safety
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to a high degree of accuracy
- Proactive problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be willing to stay late or come in early as required

Commitment to Accessibility:
**Salary**: Up to $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- 8-hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime (occasional)
- Weekends (occasional)

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Stoney Creek, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment
- Additional certifications in manufacturing or related field, such as mechanical millwright (preferred)

Work Location: In person
