We have an exciting opportunity for an Application Support Analyst to join our team in Langley, B.C.

Reporting to the Retail Team Lead, you will contribute to the success of the Save-On-Foods banner and other Pattison Food Group banners as required.

You will be responsible for:
- Troubleshooting, resolving, documenting production incidents and identifying recurring problems for areas of improvement to help develop a plan to implement the resolution as appropriate- The effectiveness and efficiency of the entire problem lifecycle - proper problem statement, root-cause analysis, fix, and resolution. Also ensuring root cause analysis is performed and permanent solutions are implemented- Understanding business processes, business system capabilities, and business impacts of system outages- Liaising with retail store leaders, corporate office members, IT leaders and external vendors to troubleshoot and resolve incidents by gathering information, communicating updates and providing escalation for critical incidents- Preparing technical documentation, including but not limited to, user manuals, technical support guides, help desk documentation, and knowledgebase articles for incidents and problems.- Providing technical support to system users- Participating in system test execution and supporting user acceptance testing- Participating in post-implementation validation and ensuring- Ensuring technical direction and standards are implemented in deliverables- Providing mentorship and technical coaching to others (as needed)

You have:
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science or a related discipline and 1-3 years of experience- Knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, design and implementation preferably using either Oracle or SQL Server technologies- Knowledge of basic IT infrastructure and networking-
- Experience with Java, C#, ASP.Net MVC, HTML5, JavaScript (asset only)-
- ITIL Foundation certificate preferred

- Organized and able to prioritize job tasks in a fast paced, deadline driven environment- A strong problem solver with the ability to troubleshoot problems and solve them in a complex environment- Able to work effectively in a team environment with mínimal supervision- A strong written and verbal communicator- A fast learner with the desire and aptitude to learn more and take on responsibilities
