Act-Logix is a supply chain management, and logistics company operating out of the Greater Vancouver Area. Our expertise is fourth-party logistics solutions, and since opening in 2018 we have expanded tremendously. ACT-Logix is currently managing over 300,000 sq feet of warehouse space, for many high-profile global clients. We have a small internal management team whose main focus is developing, implementing, and evaluating continuous improvement processes while ensuring a safe work environment.

**Overview**

We are searching for a highly motivated individual to join our Warehouse team at Act-Logix. This role will be ideal for someone with experience working in a warehouse or industrial environment, and someone who has a positive attitude. The role will involve general warehouse tasks such as unloading shipments and moving equipment from the loading dock to the correct place in the stockroom. The General Labourer will need to be able to lift 30kg safely using the correct form and have strong verbal communication skills.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Sign for deliveries from the distributor, help unload the shipment and use various moving equipment to transport the deliveries to their correct location within the warehouse;
- Inspect contents of shipments and when the necessary process returns for any defective or incorrect items;
- Ensure stockroom is clean and organized as well as stocked to the correct levels at all times;
- Conducts inventory of stockroom, and logs data into inventory database;
- Reports any major or unresolved shipment delays or problems to site manager;
- Manage customer inquiries about pending orders and shipments;
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or industrial environment;
- Excellent written and verbal communication, and ability to collaborate with all employees at every level of the company.
- Must be able to lift 30kgs safely using the correct form and also able to stand on feet for long durations of the shift;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment;
- Proven attendance record and awareness of proper warehouse safety protocols;

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $18.08 per hour
