**POSITION TITLE: GENERAL LABORER - SNOW REMOVAL**

**JOB SUMMARY**:
A snow removal employee ensures that vehicle and pedestrian traffic can travel safely after a snowfall event.

**MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Thoroughly clears snow from sidewalks, walkways, and driveways using blowers, shovels, sweepers, or a combination thereof.
- Prepares areas for the usage of large equipment by clearing snow away from vehicles, garage doors, and other obstacles as required.
- Ensure completion of all work logs/documentation
- Ensure proper digital photographs obtained before and after completion of each work site.
- Performs shop maintenance and cleaning tasks as determined via schedules.
- Other duties as assigned/required.

**SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE**:

- Knowledge of all company policies and procedures
- Knowledge of equipment operation: Blow packs, sweepers
- Skills/Attributes: responsible, reliable, punctual, detail oriented, sense of urgency

**WORKING CONDITIONS**:

- Employee is on call 7 days a week to respond to any and all snow events.
- Employee will be outdoors 95% of the time, exposed to inclement weather for long periods of time.

**SCHEDULE: GENERAL LABORER - SNOW REMOVAL**

HOURS OF WORK

**GENERAL OFFICE HOURS**:
The regular office hours for Summit Property Group are 7:00am to 4:00pm Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

**HOURS OF WORK**:
Shift start times vary and are dependent on a number of factors including weather, daylight hours, snow events, and customer/contractual requirements.

Hours of work in effect for snow removal employees during the winter season (approximately October 30 to April 30):

- On call 7 days a week
- Required to report to work following any snow event
- 4am start unless otherwise notified by Summit. Employees will be notified by 8pm of any changes to shift start time for the following day.
- We are required to complete some work “after hours” or on an emergency call out basis. Crews will be scheduled accordingly.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $30.00-$39.41 per hour
