We strive to offer a supportive, inclusive and nurturing environment that helps our employees expand their careers and reach their highest potential. **Summary**: **What You’ll Do**: - Optimize inventory level by using a combination of historical trending tools and future forecasting; - Manage supply chain to ensure the most cost-effective means of shipping goods while balancing tight schedules; - Manage inventory transactions to ensure an accurate accounting of inventory (cycle, quarter and year-end counts); - Create manufacturing orders (MO) to initiate internal product modifications to satisfy special orders in the microwave (MW) business; - Identify continuous improvement opportunities and contribute to the development of improved business processes, including time and cost reduction measures; - Maintain a safe working environment in the warehouse area; and - Other duties as assigned. **What You’ll Bring**: - Formal training in Production Inventory Management, Supply Chain Management and/or Logistics Management an asset; - 3-4 years of experience working in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management for a multi-million dollar corporation; - Experienced in the handling creating and preparation of shipping documents for international/domestic shipping; - Knowledgeable of secure tariff rulings with Canada Customs and Revenue Agency; - Experience using an ERP/MRP system in a manufacturing environment, preferably Microsoft Dynamics NAV; - Excellent MS Office computer skills - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Power BI - Superior communication and interpersonal skills - Strong team player with excellent problem and conflict solving skills; resourceful and proactive - Commitment to product quality and delivery deadlines based on cost and time constraints - Able to train and learn from others - Enthusiastic, energetic, positive working attitude - Ambitious; Career Oriented - An adaptable personality to integrate with a diverse group of people; good negotiator - Exemplary organization and time management skills; excellent multitasking ability - Strong work ethic and values - Willing to work flexible hours **The following will be considered assets**: - Understanding of the "Lean" principles of manufacturing - Experience with RF electronics and understanding of related specifications - Ability to communicate and provide support to the sales team and customers - Ability to work professionally with outside service providers - Ability to arrange freight shipments and arrange for complex overseas shipments - Proficient with the setup and use of ERP/MRP systems, including an ability to intelligently contribute to the enhancement of same - Experience working in all aspects of Operations, from Purchasing and Logistics through Production and QA - Experience in vendor management and price negotiation an asset. **What We Offer**: - Paid vacation days; - 5 paid sick days; - 100% paid by employer comprehensive health benefits package including medical, dental, life & more (coverage varies); - 4% RRSP matching; - Up to an annual maximum of $2,000 per year professional development fund for designations and accreditations; - 100% reimbursed for job-related training; - On-going training available; - Flexible hours of work based on position; - Employee Referral Program; - Employee Award Program; - Plenty of on-site and street parking & a bus stop right in front of the office (bus 405, 410, 416); - Leisure areas in the office, employees are encouraged to have some fun (i.e., ping pong table, foosball, Wii, tabletop games, card games); - Employee events & initiatives: company BBQs, field trips, annual summer event, free snacks events, lunchroom has free flow of coffees & teas. - Please note that benefits may vary by location and employment status._ - Applicants must hold either a Canadian citizenship, Canadian Permanent Residency, or Work/ Study Permit.
