Operating a vast pilot network with offices throughout Canada, the United States, and South America, Volatus provides enterprise and industrial solutions including training, equipment sales and support, imaging and inspection services, design and manufacture, and research and development.

Our administrative team is expanding and we are looking to add a new **Accounts Payables Specialist** to join our finance department. This position is **100% remote** with growth opportunities as the group expands.

**Title**: Accounts Payables Specialist

**Reports to**: Corporate Controller

**Responsibilities**:

- Onboard new vendors and maintain approved vendor list
- Enter vendor invoices in the accounting system and ensure approval process is followed
- Prepare and schedule payments to vendors
- Process expense reports and collect credit card receipts for corporate cards
- Support the controller with cashflow planning
- Assist with compliance audits/reviews
- Assist with financial reporting and special accounting projects
- Fulfill other duties as required

**Upcoming Projects Impacting the Role**:

- Implementation of an AP Management Software company wide

**Skills & Experience**:

- Experience using Quickbooks Online (required)
- Experience using Xero (an asset)
- Experience using the Office Suite (required)
- 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping and/or accounting (required)
- Experience working with multiple entities at once and in a multi-currency environment (required)

**Language Requirement**:

- English: Full Professional Proficiency
- French: Professional Working Proficiency

**Work Conditions & Benefits**
- Salary Range: $40,000 to $60,000
- Work from home, all tools provided by the company
- Health insurance from day 1
