Hampton Park Dental, Westboro Area
**Schedule**:
Monday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Tuesday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Wednesday 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Thursday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Friday 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Saturday Closed
**Responsibilities**:
- Establish strong patient relationships
- Clinical chairside assisting duties for a variety of dental procedures such as: general dentistry, endodontics, surgery, infant frenectomy
- Radiographs, dental impressions as required
- Lab duties, as required
- Sterilization and disinfection with required reporting
- Ensure that the dentist you are assisting has the necessary dental supplies on hand
- Assist dentists in managing medical and dental emergencies when necessary
- Ensure all treatment consent forms have been completed and gathered
- Provide post-operative care instructions as required
- Ensuring all clinical and storage areas are clean and organized
- Monitor, maintain/order dental supply inventory on a weekly and monthly basis as required
- Identify gaps in clinical schedule and make recommendations to the Office Manager
- Collaborate with colleagues during down-time in schedule
- Attend continuing education events from time to time and as required
**Requirements**:
- Graduate from applicable Dental Assisting Program (Level II)
- Successful completion of the National Dental Assisting Examining Board (NDAEB)
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Attention to detail, organized and reliable
- Additional certification or training is an asset
