The Inventory specialist is responsible for in depth knowledge of inventory reporting activities within the organization. This includes the development, implementation and maintenance of all the procedures and protocols in relation to proper inventory controls for the purpose of maintaining accurate financial information and compliance reporting. The position reports into the Manager, Inventory and works with members of all production departments to support inventory controls and other reporting needs. The role seeks to develop sustainable and dynamic inventory models while tracking variable inputs and updating accordingly.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with the warehouse supervisor and production departments in order to achieve accurate data for reporting purposes for both compliance and forecasting
- Perform counts and ensure that all inventory (raw materials and/or cannabis products) is accounted for and reported according to company policy and compliance standards
- Investigate and correct discrepancies in reported quantities and locations of all inventory throughout the production process, reconciling actual stock counts to computer-generated reports
- Assess inventory output on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis to identify trends in productivity
- Train other employees in asset inventory management
- Uphold the values and reputation of Redecan
- Long hours, shift work and/or weekend work will be required
- Additional duties as required

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Strong attention to detail, well organized, takes responsibility for actions and projects provided
- Physical ability to lift 10-25 pounds and sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl repeatedly
- Superior organizational and communication skills
- Flexible in style and quite willing to learn new ways, methods and approaches
- Works well in a team environment
- Displays the ability to multitask and handle multiple issues at the same time without stress

**Qualifications**:

- University degree preferred
- Strong interpersonal communication, relationship-building, and approachability

3 years minimum relevant experience
