**About the Role**:
**Budtender Responsibilities**:

- Checking customers' identification to verify that they are of legal age.
- Educating customers on the safe use of cannabis products.
- Advising customers on suitable cannabis products based on their needs and preferences.
- Staying up to date with new cannabis products on the market as well as the latest industry trends to better advise the customers.
- Provide an exceptional customer experience.
- Ensuring that the store floor is always clean and well-organized.
- Product display setup and restocking
- Maintain a clean and organized stockroom.
- Assisting in Inventory count.
- Support, guide and answer questions throughout the customer's journey
- Process transactions and online orders.
- Complete tasks as assigned by store managers.
- Bilingual.

- Knowledge of cannabis strains and effects
- Prior cannabis industry experience

**Requirements**:

- French (mandatory)
- Flexible availability: required to work nights, weekends, holidays and peak summer season.
- 3 recent references.

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 2 year
- Cannabis Industry: 1 year
- Previous Budtender experience

**Legal Requirements: (must be obtained and valid prior to start date)**
- Must be 19+ as per Ontario law
- CannSell Certification
- Criminal background check

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Casual

**Salary**: From $16.55 per hour

Supplemental pay types:

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 2 years (preferred)
- Sales: 1 year (preferred)
- Cannabis sales: 1 year (required)
