**Job Description**:
AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Technologist I for immediate employment for the Mississauga, ON office. AECOM is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:
- Design of traffic signals and illumination for various clients
- Preparation of lighting and traffic signal layouts
- Preparation of wiring diagrams and electrical details
- Photometric analysis of lighting systems
- Voltage drop calculations
- Preparation of contract documents and specifications
- Site visits and contract administration
**Qualifications**:
Minimum Requirements:
- Technical or Associate's degree in related field
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and MicroStation
- Must possess a valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of relevant industry (traffic signals and roadway lighting) experience
- Knowledge of AutoLUX and other lighting calculation programs
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
- Knowledge of various municipal and MTO design standards
