Your Moneris Career - The Opportunity

Location(s): Sackville, Montreal, Toronto

You will translate complex data into user-friendly text for high-quality publications such as product/system specifications, architecture, operations procedures, training and proposal materials. You will gather operational related information through research and interviews with multiple partners and document this information through our multiple means of delivery. You will report into the Manager, Process Improvement I.

Your Moneris Career - What you'll do- Develop comprehensive documentation that meets organizational standards- Obtain an understanding of products and services to translate complex product information into simple, polished, and engaging content- Write user-friendly content that meets the needs of the target audience, turning insights language that sets our users up for success- Develop detailed databases of appropriate reference materials- Evaluate current content and develop creative approaches for improvement- Research, write, and edit new and existing content, working with different departments to understand project requirements-
- Research, create information architecture templates that uphold organizational and legal standards, and allow for easy data migration- Develop content in alternative media forms for maximum usability, with a consistent and cohesive voice across all documentation

Your Moneris Career - What you bring

Must-have...- Bachelor's degree in Business/ Operations/ Commerce or a related field is required- 2-4 years' industry experience as an technical writer- Previous experience writing documentation and procedural materials for multiple audiences- Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail- Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, with an eye for prioritization- Certifiation through the Society for Technical Communicators
