Under the general direction of Early Learning Services and the program Supervisor, the EDP Support Worker will:
provide active and engaged supervision to children between the ages of 4 - 12 yrs in our before and after school programs;
provide opportunities for children that help to support physical, cognitive, emotional and social development;
help to nurture and support children and their families;
provide support to the EDP program when there is a child/children with identified needs that require additional support.
**Required Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills**:
a diploma from the Child and Care Youth, Developmental Service Worker, or Recreation & Leisure programs;
valid First Aid and CPR.
A Police Record Check for the Vulnerable Sector, dated within 6 months of your first day of work, is required upon hiring.
The hourly wage is $23.54.
