We are seeking an individual who is aligned with our core values and reflects our core competencies to join our Forum for Change as **Manager, Learning Experiences**. This is an 18 month, full-time contract position.

**The Position**:
The Manager, Learning Experiences, in Havergal’s Forum for Change, reports directly to the Vice Principal, Strategic Innovation & Design (SI&D), and works in collaboration and coordination with Forum for Change colleagues, as well as faculty and students in supporting the school’s strategic direction: Havergal 2020+, and students’ development of the 8 characteristics of the Portrait of a Havergal Graduate. They explore, develop and grow dynamic, global learning experiences, and support the logistics and operations of implementing these experiences across Havergal’s Upper School, while exploring opportunities in and alongside the Junior School. In carrying out the specific accountabilities, this role will lead the coordination and collaboration of student initiatives across the Upper School with Heads of School and faculty. Bringing the lenses of People, Perspective, Partnership and Place, the approaches of UNESCO and Round Square, this role will work to build capacity in Havergal employees and students to live the values of the school: integrity, inquiry, courage and compassion.
**Specific Accountabilities**:
This role is responsible for the management of:

- The Global Learning and Leading Diploma delivery and management:

- Create a robust mentoring program
- Collaborate with faculty in the design and delivery of modules
- Monitor Graduation requirements
- Oversight of final presentations and awarding of the diploma to Gr. 12 graduates
- Assess the outcomes of the Global Learning and Leading Diploma program, write the annual report with summary findings, and seeking out opportunities for growth,
- Digital portfolio stewardship
- Coordinate program specific excursions.
- Mentor the Sustainability Student Leadership Portfolio
- Support the programing of the Sustainability Council and Prefect (i.e., School wide Earth Week, and recognition of UNESCO Days of Significance)
- Support Havergal’s Round Square programming and membership
- Represent Havergal where possible and appropriate
- Coordinate Havergal’s Round Square participation in events
- Support the communication and awareness building of Round Square’s values as captured in I.D.E.A.L.S.
- Support Havergal’s UNESCO programming and membership
- Represent Havergal through the participation in UNESCO programming, conference calls, and writing the end-of-year report for UNESCO ASP network lead;
- Develop programming and seek out integration opportunities in support of UNESCO ASPnet school programming, and the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals;
- Coordinate the recognition of Days of Significance with Heads of School and Marketing & Communications department
- Lead the Students’ Act Now programming
- First point of contact for assessing and supporting student initiatives intake and mentorship
- Coordinate with Heads of School on student involvement, initiatives and mentorship
- Support VP, SI&D in the Development and management of magnet / specialty experiential programs
- Communicate programming to broader community
- Support, as appropriate the other programs of the Forum for Change:

- Management of the Duke of Edinburgh award
- Manage the Middle School Ivy and Marguerite award

**Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience**
- Relevant university qualifications at the Bachelor level
- A minimum of 5 years related experience
- Experience in an independent school is an asset
- Enthusiasm to work from the disposition of People, Partnership, Perspective and Place
- A commitment toward continued professional development and growth
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, time-management and communication skills
- Able to work in a self-directed manner appropriate to changing needs
- A proven commitment to working successfully in collaborative environments, both face to face and virtually with students and colleagues
- Energy, commitment and a readiness to participate in the co-curricular program the diverse life of the school community.
