The primary responsibilities include supporting our existing stores in improving and maintaining their overall retail image, As well as, supporting the opening, transition, renovation and/or relocation process for Pharmasave stores **throughout the province of Ontario with occasional travel to the Atlantic Provinces. **This position is primarily Monday to Friday with mínimal evening/weekend requirements.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Strong understanding of retail merchandising
- In collaboration with all departments assist with the successful opening of new stores and/or store renovations
- Create merchandising plans
- Create electronic opening orders and fill-in orders with or without a plan-o-gram
- Organize all shipping arrangements to meet the project time lines
- Coordinate installation and product placement with the store owner
- Liaise with contractors and store owners and coordinate project schedules to meet project timelines
- Ensure communication on project status is documented and timely shared with team
- Receiving; unloading trucks including skids and boxes
- Install signs, displays and shelving
- Use of hand and power tools to perform hands-on set-up
- Merchandising/remerchandising both new and existing stores. Removing all product from shelves, moving shelves and reinstalling
- Provide inventory management and merchandising training to stores
- Demonstrate and train store staff on various retail image/brand best practices. Including, Using pricing tools and merchandising aides, plan-o-grams, stock rotation, maintaining inventory, inclusive of PS Brand products, establishing and following a cleaning/facing schedule
- Set up/install POS system for new stores - relocating (lifting of equipment) required
- Print and place retail labels
- Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to
- Ensure Pharmasave standards are adhered to
- Other duties as assigned
**Competencies**:

**Requirements**:
- Retail merchandising experience is preferred
- Extensive travel throughout Ontario with some required overnight stays
- Occasional travel to the Atlantic provinces with some overnight stays
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle is required
- Able and comfortable working alone on a regular basis
- Full range of body motion required, while lifting items weighing up to 30lbs (above shoulders, twisting, bending, climbing ladder while balancing items in hands)
- Medium to heavy lifting required; up to 30 lbs. daily. Examples: lifting totes, boxes, products, shelves, interior store sign, store equipment and hand-held tools
- Lifting and installing shelving 4’ in length (weighing up to 11 lbs.)
- Extensive standing while placing products on/off shelving
- Comfortable using hand-held tools
- Working on a site under construction, may be dusty
- MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) experience is preferred
