**Front Desk Agent - Flex Coverage**

Looking for a part-time Front Desk Agent available primarily week day evenings (3 - 11) from Monday to Thursday. More shifts may become available during busier times.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Accommodate motel guests by registering and assigning rooms
- Issuing room key-cards
- Transmitting and receiving messages
- Maintaining records of occupied rooms and guests’ accounts
- Making and confirming reservations
- Presenting statements to and collecting payments from departing guests
- Providing excellent customer service to all guests
- Answering guests inquiries and resolving guest issues
- Testing and monitoring usage of the pool
- Assorted office related tasks to stay busy throughout shifts
- General cleaning tasks to ensure lobby is presentable to every guest.

**Qualifications & Attributes**
- Training will be provided, experience is not necessary
- Must have excellent customer service skills
- Basic computer skills are an asset
- Must be responsible, adaptable, and a quick-thinking problem solver
- Flexible availability is an asset, although we can be flexible too when needed
- Must be able to work independently, effectively communicating from shift to shift
- Expected to lead your own shift often responsibly, and complete tasks without supervision
- Advancement is possible to any future openings

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 32 per week

**Salary**: From $12.25 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Brandon, MB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
