**Library Technician**

**Compensation**: $22.00 - $23.00

**HOW YOU WILL THRIVE**:
You will be the first point of contact at the library, ensuring easy access to collections, spaces, and technologies. Your work will keep our shelves accurate, our records clean, and our users confident in navigating both print and digital resources.

**HOW YOU WILL SUCCEED**:

- Greet and assist students, helping with checkouts, returns and information requests
- Process returned materials and manager the book drop
- Keep shelves organized and ensure resources are easy to find
- Provide student orientations to the library’s services and resources
- Assist in integrating new and emerging learning resources and technologies, including the use of social media, to enhance library services
- Support the preparation and setup of spaces for library programs and events
- Maintain the library’s appearance through regular tidying, inventory, and general upkeep
- Follow established procedures to securely close the library
- Identify and resolve issues as they arise, ensuring smooth daily operations
- Provide assistance as needed to support academic teams

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support effective interactions with students, faculty, and staff
- Capability to communicate information clearly and professionally
- Abilit in building positive relationships and supporting learners
- Knowledge of organizing, accessing and evaluation information
