***Reporting to the Recreation Coordinator, Drop-In/Birthday Party Program Leaders are an integral part of the Recreation and Culture Division. We are currently looking for staff to work during the Summer program session (July and August) during the daytime, evenings, and on weekends to oversee a variety of drop-in sports programs for children, youth, and adults.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and supervise activities for children aged 5-12yrs old for Birthday Party Packages.
- Coordinate and supervise activities for children and families during Drop-in times.
- Take drop in payments and reconcile drop in numbers.
- Communicate with participants and parents.
- Report any issues, concerns, or areas of development to the Recreation Coordinator.
- Ensure all equipment is used in a proper and safe manner.
- Set-up and take down of any equipment or supplies used.
- Ensure the equipment room is safely organized and clean.
- Provide exceptional customer service.

**Experience and Qualifications**:

- Excellent customer service skills.
- Experience working with children, preferably in a recreational setting.
- Previous experience planning and implementing program plans an asset.
- Vulnerable Sector Check is required.

**Hourly Rate: $16.96**
