Splitsville Entertainment is Canada’s premier family entertainment center Our modern facilities combine state-of-the-art 10 pin bowling, high-quality casual dining, arcades, laser tag, and other entertainment options to make your visit a one-of-a-kind experience.

The Sales Specialist promotes, sells and plans events for Splitsville Entertainment Guests.

They will need to sell the event space, food and beverage, bowling, arcade and amusement packages overall, the Sales Specialist is selling and planning a FUN & EXCITING EXPERIENCE for our guests

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Establish, develop and maintain positive business relationships on behalf of Splitsville Entertainment with both new and existing guests
- Effectively sell the meeting spaces, party rooms, food and beverage packages, entertainment packages; meet quarterly and yearly sales goals
- Work with event sales manager to prospect new events and target new leads where possible; reach out to past clients for future booking
- Arrange and confirm all event details with client prior to the event; communicate information to all team members
- Work with event team to ensure all events run smoothly; connect with client during event to offer help if needed
- Follow up after each event with client to obtain feedback, maintain rapport and suggest future bookings with Splitsville
- Meet with events sales manager, centre manager and the Splitsville Sales Team weekly to discuss weekly plan and targets
- Maintain daily use of our inhouse database to input all leads, track and follow up on all inquiries and communications with clients; track all marketing and promotional materials where necessary
- Update and maintain content on our social media sites regularly within corporate standards and guidelines.
- Acts as a brand advocate by educating clients and potential guests about Splitsville’s entertainment options, fostering brand loyalty, and encouraging repeat business.
- Attend and facilitate offsite promotional events within the community to raise brand awareness and obtain leads for future event bookings
- Provide an excellent experience for all clients and their guests - Create an atmosphere of positivity and fun
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures including all health and safety policies and procedures
- This is a guest facing role; should be enthusiastic and helpful at all times
- Other duties as assigned

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Previous experience in a sales customer service role an asset
- Have a desire to create fun events and take pride in their work; passionate about great guest experiences
- Must have an outgoing personality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organization, prioritizing and multi-tasking; understands and uses a time management and filing system
- Creative problem-solving
- Social media skills
- Comfortable working with booking quotas and is usually able to achieve or exceed them
- Has been or is currently involved in community affairs, charities, clubs, etc
- Has a valid drivers license or access to reliable transportation
- Must be available to work evening, weekend and holiday events as needed
