**Job description**

Forest Trek Woodwork is looking for individuals in a exciting career in carpentry and woodworking of small cabins, outhouses, interior/exterior furniture and other various wood products. We work in a shop 90% of the time and 10% on site, fun and fast paced environment. We're a small family owned business growing and looking for individuals to join our team

Experienced Carpenter, Journeyman or 2nd/3rd year apprentice

Home renovation experience, Decks, fences. Jack of all trades.

Must have reliable transportation and pass a criminal background check.

Full time/Part time hours: 20- 40 per week

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Carpentry: 1-2 years

Licence/Certification:

- Drivers License (required)

Job Duties:

- Operating light equipment (forklifts)
- Working as a team and working independently
- Problem solving
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Knowledge of job site safety rules and regulations (Occupational Health and Safety)
- Knowledge of woods and their uses and adaptability
- Knowledge of methods, tools, and equipment used in carpentry

**Salary**: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
