We are looking for a detail-oriented Yard Manager to take charge of our busy lumber yard. You will have the opportunity to work with an experienced and dedicated team while being responsible for coordinating loads as directed by logistics and ensuring yard staff remain on schedule. **Prior work experience in a busy yard, accuracy, and attention to detain is a must**

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinating loads as directed by Logistics
- Ensuring yard staff remain on schedule
- Quality control as per Inventory Manager
- Keeping yard tidy and organized per lot map
- Experience operating equipment, such as forklifts
- A thorough understanding of cut lists
- A basic knowledge of lumber industry and EWP
- Light carpentry skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- A positive, problem-solving attitude and drive to keep on schedule
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence in managing a team and working closely with various departments
- Coordinating deliveries of material.
- Follow company policies and procedures.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
