IAG is seeking an enthusiastic, confident, positive, self-motivated team member who is looking to embark on an exciting career at Yorkdale Ford as a Accounts Payable Manager.

We are looking for an individual who is reliable, honest, organized, detail-oriented, and has a strong desire to succeed.

Here's What you'll deliver:
Maintain vendor list
Oversee entire AP process for seven stores, ensuring accurate and timely payment to vendors
Manage AP cheque run for over 250 vendors
Reconcile corporate credit cards used for marketing, licensing and sundry expenses
Process credit card payments
Record and maintain fixed asset schedules for seven stores, including monthly posting of depreciation expenses
Record and maintain property insurance payments and allocations to the stores
Record and maintain accrued expense for corporate audit expenses
Support year end audit for accounts under your responsibility
Provide guidance and training for staff reporting to you, provide guidance to staff at stored for proper invoice posting
Support Parts Physical Inventory through proper management for previous and post count document controls
Set-up and posting of some recurring corporate expenses
Coordinate month end and year posting related to the department
Communicate and resolve vendor related issues.

What you'll need to succeed:

- Must have a minimum of 5 years accounting experience within an automotive dealership
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Are a self-starter with ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor’s degree or College Diploma in Accounting or equivalent
- Have AR/AP experience in automotive dealership
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills required
- Previous car dealership accounting experience considered an asset
- Strong knowledge of Reynolds or ADP is considered an asset
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office required
