**Essential Functions & Responsibilities**:

- Examining and sampling non-conforming products to ensure Brimich and customer standards.
- Work with the SQF Practitioner(s) to implement and maintain Food Safety Standards.
- Managing product returns.
- Tracking and managing Compliance issues.
- Actively participate in 3rd Party audits, customer audits and regulatory audits.
- Record keeping - regular filing and document management.
- Assist with facilitating QA/SQF training for associates.
- Identifying potential hazards and working to fix them (if possible) or escalate them to the supervisors’ attention for action.
- Managing Hold & Release Program
- Understands and applies safe work practices and principles. Asks questions if unsure.

**Health and Safety**
- Understands and works in compliance with the Environmental and Health/Safety management systems, policies, rules, and guidelines.
- Observe standards for safe working conditions as outlined in the OH&S Act.

**Job Specifications—Skills and Competencies**:

- 1-3 years of QA or related experience within the food grade warehousing sector preferred.
- Understanding of HACCP systems.
- Good analytical and logical problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow documents and procedures.
- Strong conflict resolution skills. Ability to handle stressful situations.
- SQF knowledge considering as an asset.
- Ability to work in team setting or independently with minimum supervision.
- Strong organizational skills. Good verbal and written communication skills
