Blue Water Cafe is a high volume fine dining restaurant, serving around 320 guests nightly.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
(Other duties may be assigned as required)
- Assist with the day-to-day operations of the kitchen
- Serve as an educator to the restaurant’s pastry team
- Maintain exceptional cleanliness and maintain equipment to optimal specifications
- Design creative and elevated pastries, desserts, and breads
- Passionate about and possess great background knowledge of bread making, as well as classic baking techniques and procedures
- Lead by example, inspiring staff to deliver a memorable food experience
- Maximize resources and inventories by managing cost and monitoring inventory and budget to ensure the best use of inventory and allocation of expenses

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Minimum 2 years of experience
- A degree in the Culinary Arts or an equivalent combination of education and experience

- Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
- An energetic and motivated team player; highly committed to a premium level of quality
- Solid organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects at one time
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
