The Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations within the organization, ensuring productivity and efficiency while managing a team of employees. **Operations Supervisor**
- Oversee Shop Operations for daily delivery / returns - shipping / receiving.
- Ensure Policies & Procedures, SOPs are followed by Staff
- Supervise, train and coach Shop techs and delivery driver on product knowledge and procedures to understand project needs
- Drive safety standards in department, ensure staff is well trained and follows safe work practices
- Perform regular inspection of facility and equipment, and immediately address all deficiencies.
- Supervise, check / audit and ensure QA /QC in inventory counts for delivery and returns
- Conduct weekly cycle counts of all equipment
- Maintain inventory Min/max - Issue Pos
- Process everyday delivery / return paperwork on time
- Capture damages - billable and non-billable
- Manage daily reports - open delivery / pickup report, WO report
- Work with vendors to coordinate 3rd party logistics
- Conduct and ensure daily safety inspections are performed in shop
- Keep shop and yard clean and always organized
- Available for afterhours emergencies and on call inquires
- Customer Service
- Inside and Outside
- Drive Efficiency in shop’s manpower to lower operation cost
- Train staff on product knowledge to improve green tagging standards
- Maintain inventory min/max
- Reduce cycle count discrepancies
**Experience**:
- Operations Management: 1-2 year (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in construction engineering, construction management, or a related field is advantageous, though comparable work experience will be considered.
- Relevant experience in construction, particularly in water-related projects.
- A solid foundation in civil engineering principles is preferred.
- Strong oral and written communication, presentation, interpersonal, customer service, negotiation, organizational, computer literate and time management skills.
- Sporadic exposure to outdoor weather, shop, and job site conditions.
- Knowledge and experience in managing or maintaining rental equipment.
- Strong understanding and knowledge of engine repair (diesel preferred).
