Project BIM Managers are highly motivated individuals with very technically sound BIM modelling and project information management skills who also have proven team leadership capabilities. They use their strong skills and technical knowledge to implement BIM onto projects and meet / exceed client needs, requirements and expectations while delivering best for project outcomes.

**Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in**:
**WINNING WORK - Opportunity / Proposal Phase**
- Identifying and sharing BIM-related opportunity developments and client communications with the relevant region contacts and developing the opportunity pipeline.
- Working with Bid Team to ensure BIM is integrated in proposal approach, methodology and budget.
- Developing initial project BIM strategy that will deliver the client’s and project’s BIM requirements.
- Identifying the key BIM roles required for project delivery.
- Identifying key budget or resource constraints.
- Identifying key project risks of BIM implementation.
- Identifying key project BIM deliverables / outcomes.
- Developing pre-contract award BIM Execution Plan (BEP), if a project requirement.

**PROJECT DELIVERY - Project Planning & Initiation Phase**

**Strategy**
- Identifying and documenting the Client’s/Project’s BIM requirements. (This sometimes requires to be reverse engineered from clients RFT)
- Developing post-contract award BEP to address overall requirements of the scope of works, technical criteria, and client BIM requirements.

**People**
- Communicating key components of BEP and expected BIM Deliverables to the project team.
- Communicating with the Project Manager / Director on progress.
- Assessing technical skills / capabilities / maturity of project team and identifying any gaps.
- Coordinating with Regional / Office BIM Leads to implement any technical training requirements.

**Process**
- Establishing BIM project phases and expected milestones.
- Establishing the work breakdown structure and aligning the BIM Modelling strategy.
- Establishing federated Project Information Model (PIM) strategy.
- Establishing the information exchange strategy (frequency, formats, and method etc)
- Establishing the clash detection / resolution process.
- Establishing regular BIM Coordination meetings with Project BIM Coordinator(s).

**Technology**
- Establishing the common data environment (CDE) strategy and ensuring its fit for purpose.
- Establishing coordination / integration strategy with GIS Platforms or Visualization Environments.

**PROJECT DELIVERY - Project Execution Phase**

**Strategy**
- Regularly review and update BEP to reflect any scope changes or alterations to the Project/BIM Strategy.

**People**
- Providing support and guidance to Project BIM Coordinator(s)
- Act as a focal point for all BIM / data / information management issues on the project.

**Process**
- Ensuring required BIM outputs are delivered according to project programme / milestones.
- Establish the digital model coordination strategy with all project stakeholders.
- Digital 3D/4D/5D Model Strategy - ensuring the discipline models are suitable for inclusion into the federated PIM. (Accepting and rejecting models as necessary)
- Verifying model LOD / LOI is as specified for each project phase.
- Ensuring the clear definition of model element ownership across the project.
- Ensuring that stakeholders have published a version of the digital model for each significant milestone stage as identified in the BEP.
- Establish quality control procedures to check that all digital models are accurate (including system setup and control)
- Audit and QA digital models prior to each significant milestone.
- Ensuring the clash detection / resolution process is followed.

**Technology**
- Aggregating all models and upload to CDE for all stakeholders to reference.
- Run coordination simulations and report on clash and segregation issues.
