About Us:
We are opening a brand-new child care centre in Markham, designed to offer an inspiring and welcoming outdoor environment for children. We’re seeking a reliable and creative gardener or landscaping contractor to help develop and maintain our outdoor spaces.

Job Responsibilities:

- Assist in the design and planning of outdoor garden and landscaping elements (e.g., play gardens, flower beds, greenery, softscapes).
- Plant, water, weed, mulch, and maintain garden beds and lawn areas.
- Recommend and source appropriate plants, soil, and materials.
- Ensure the garden areas are safe, tidy, and visually inviting.
- Perform seasonal maintenance (spring prep, fall cleanup, etc.).
- Collaborate with the center director on evolving landscaping needs.

Qualifications:

- Experience in gardening, landscaping, or horticulture
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of child-friendly plants and outdoor safety is a plus
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and dependable

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual, Seasonal

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
