Foreman (Landscaping)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Landscape Supervisor to lead and oversee landscaping projects and maintenance crews. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid background in horticulture and landscape maintenance, and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently. This role is essential in ensuring high-quality landscape services, client satisfaction, and team productivity.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of landscaping crews, ensuring safety and efficiency on job sites
• Oversee landscape installation, maintenance, and construction projects from start to finish
• Manage irrigation systems, perform gardening tasks, and ensure horticultural best practices are followed
• Conduct landscape maintenance including pruning, planting, fertilizing, and pest control
• Ensure all work complies with company standards, safety regulations, and client specifications
• Train and mentor team members to improve skills in horticulture, construction techniques, and landscape care
• Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and team members to ensure project goals are met
• Monitor project progress and report on milestones or issues as needed

Requirements

• Proven experience in supervising landscape or construction crews with leadership capabilities
• Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, gardening techniques, horticulture principles, and landscape maintenance practices
• Hands-on experience with landscape construction projects is preferred
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining a focus on safety and quality standards
• Physical ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions
• Valid driver's license is required for transportation between job sites
• Prior experience in supervising teams within the landscaping or construction industry is highly desirable
