Technical Support Analyst

BC Assessment is currently looking for two temporary Technical Support Analysts to join our Services Operations team at our Victoria office until March 2026.

Who you are

What you’ll get to do- Provide tier 1 & 2 technical support by diagnosing problems and collaborating with more senior staff as required on priorities or problem resolution. Follow up on unresolved problems with technical support staff, vendors or systems specialists.- Review quality of systems, procedures and services; identify issues and makes recommendations for systems and maintenance improvements to specialists/team leaders.- Prepare requisitions to purchase technology hardware, software, and distributes to end users.- Prepare process documentation, make recommendations for alternate approaches and performance enhancements and perform ongoing reviews of effectiveness and efficiency.- Monitor and report utilization/capacity for data storage, network utilization, software licensing, and user IDs.

These positions are included in the bargaining unit.- Location: Victoria, BC- Compensation: $61,008.10 - $71,681.61-
What you bring to the team

Education- Diploma, certification or equivalent in the computer science field, or equivalent.

Experience- One year of related experience- Experience in a client-focused work environment is desired.
