Taekwondo Instructor

Our team is looking for part-time assistant instructors and/or instructors who are interested in growth opportunities within the field of teaching martial arts. We are looking for energetic instructors who show a commitment to our guiding principles of motivation, dedication, and discipline.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Assisting the main instructor in paddle-holding
- Working with small groups of students, teaching them forms
- Leading classes in warm-ups

**Additional Information**
- Set hours with pay ranging from $15.65/hour - $30/hour which is contingent on training and years of experience
- Opportunities for pay raise after the probation period of 3 months
- Includes training to improve skills in Taekwondo
- Staff uniform provided

**Requirements and Qualifications**
- Black belt in Taekwondo
- At least a year of experience in teaching Taekwondo or at least a year of experience teaching children
- High energy and ability to adapt teaching skills to meet the needs of specific students

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 8-16 per week

**Salary**: $15.65-$30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Surrey, BC V3S 5N4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
