**Office Manager**:

- Experience:_
- Proven experience as an Office Manager/Receptionist in a dental office (with at least 2 years experience)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

**Administrative staff will manage the day to day activities of the denture clinic.**:

- This person will be responsible for:_
- Maintaining office documents
- Maintaining patient database
- Communicating with patients
- Receiving payments from patients
- Liaising with dental offices
- Communicating with insurance companies
- Managing inventory and recare systems
- Overseeing office equipment
- Keeping current with communication/information from DAO and CDO
- Support duties

**SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES**:

- Maintain office documents and records_
- Create / stock all office documents
- Maintain employee records (specifically in compliance with H&S and MOL regulations)
- Maintain patient database_
- Complete patient charts / clinical records - paper and electronic (transcribe notes from DD into DOMx program)
- Communicate with patients_
- Receive incoming telephone calls to clinic
- Greet patients, handle inquiries
- Schedule patient appointments (upon direction from DD)
- Maintain appointment book both physical and electronic
- Maintain accounts receivable_
- Maintain accounts receivable activity
- Follow up on delinquent accounts
- Liaise with dental offices_
- Communicate with dental offices via phone and letter on behalf of patients
- Communicate with insurance companies_
- Send insurance predeterminations and claims
- Establish clarity on patient coverage
- Follow up with insurance companies in the event of coverage discrepancy
- Manage inventory and recare systems_
- Maintain “Clinic Supplies” worksheet
- Track costs of products, and current suppliers
- Order clinic supplies as needed
- Perform monthly recare calls
- Ensure recares are added to patient records
- Oversee office equipment and software_
- Ensure office equipment operates according to specs
- Communicate with software provider as needed
- Support Duties_
- Office cleaning
- Operatory Sterilization
- Sterilization_
