Records and Research Agent

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Position: Records and Research Agent**

Reporting to the Manager of Records, Research & Pension Services, the **Records & Research Agent **is responsible for ordering U.S. and International checks, MVR’s, credit records, driving records and also checking for Bankruptcy, Litigation, Judgement, Tax Liens, PPSA and Criminal History searches. The agent should have analytical and research skills to be able to complete the verifications.

**Responsibilities**:
Based on their role, the **Records and Research Agent** shall:

- Conduct international verifications such as credit check, criminal and civil verifications and other searches using online data bases
- Work on the assigned files and do follow ups to complete the verification
- Publish results of the verifications in the system for the clients to view
- Perform other duties that may be assigned by one of their supervisors

**Required Qualifications**:

- Knowledge and Education _
- Degree of a college/high school recognized in Canada
- Bilingual (English and French) considered a strong asset
- Typing ability (minimum typing speed)
- Experience, Skills and Abilities _
- Experience in customer service 1 (one) years minimum
- Excellent computer skills
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Good analytical / research skills
- Exceptional Attention to Detail, Organization and Time Management
- Capacity to communicate clearly
- Aptitude to work both in team and individually
- Ability to work in a changing environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.55-$17.00 per hour
