As we gear up for our busy food truck season, we’re looking for skilled, reliable, and motivated **Cooks** to join our kitchen team. **Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes and presentation standards.
- Execute precise knife work for prepping vegetables, proteins, and garnishes.
- Ensure all food is fresh, properly stored, and prepared in a sanitary and timely manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, equipment, and utensils.
- Assist with prep work, portioning, and plating as needed.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and health regulations at all times.
- Communicate with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to ensure smooth service.
- Monitor food quality and consistency; adjust processes as needed.
- Support other team members and contribute to a positive work environment.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous cooking experience in a commercial kitchen (1-2 years preferred).
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with proper cutting techniques and kitchen safety.
- Understanding of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
- Good time management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to lift heavy items, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced setting.
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills.
- Flexible and willing to travel to different locations as needed.
- Food Handler’s Certification
