**Who Are We Looking For?**
- Positive attitude with 3 years of proven management and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
- Transportation experiences preferred.
- Operational background.
- Ability to coach and give direction to employees.

- Computer skills specifically excel, windows and outlook programs.

**Responsibilities**
- Responsible to manage, monitor and oversee all aspects of the terminal's operation.
- Responsible for the hiring, dismissals and annual performance appraisals.
- Move freight according to delivery schedules and appointment times.
- Ensure facility is maintained to acceptable standards, which includes yards, wash bays and maintenance department.
- Communicate closely with all departments to ensure concerns are resolved.
- Recommend changes and highlight any problem areas to supervisor. Analyse lanes, profitability, delivery schedules, costing of terminal, etc.
- Monitor all equipment including power, trailer and dock handling equipment.
- Responsible for the training and orientation of employees.
- Plan, monitor and maintain employee schedules, time off, vacations, overtime, etc.
- Investigate accidents and claims as required.
- Ensure all supervisory/managerial staff foster and encourage a positive and respectful work environment.
- Maintain terminal within the company Mission Statement.
- All other duties as required
