Early Childhood Educator/inclusion Coordinator

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to work as a fulltime float staff and Inclusion Coordinator, at our main location that serves children ages 4 months - 5 years. This is a summer term position from June 1st - August 31, with possible extension or permeant position, with review of employment and possible openings. **Requirements**: - **ECE Level 2 or Level 3 certification is required.** _(Applications from Level 1, untrained or entry level individuals will not be considered right away.)_ - Experience working with children is an asset. - Experience working in and knowledge of inclusion and child development an asset. - Recent experience (within the past 5 years) in a childcare environment is preferred. - Knowledge of and/or experience with play-based learning environments is an asset. - Current Child Abuse Registry Check, Criminal Record/Vulnerable Sector Check, and Emergency First Aid & CPR “C”. **Responsibilities**: - Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote children’s growth and learning. - Create a safe, nurturing environment that supports the well-being and development of all children. - Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress and needs. - Collaborate with team members to enhance programs and support inclusive learning environments. - Maintain accurate records in compliance with all policies and procedures. **Why Join Us?** Children’s Corner Daycare provides an environment where children are encouraged to explore, develop self-esteem, and build social skills through hands-on experiences.
