**Key Responsibilities**
- Analyze and process geospatial data using modern tools and techniques.
- Develop and implement algorithms for data analysis, including predictive modelling, (spatial) interpolation, clustering, and spatial-temporal modeling.
- Create innovative and interactive dashboards and visualizations to present data insights effectively to stakeholders.
- Work with big data platforms (e.g., Big Query, Athena) to process and analyze large geospatial datasets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate geospatial analysis into broader data science projects.
- Design scalable solutions for geospatial data storage, retrieval, and analysis.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and methods in geospatial analytics, data science, and visualization.
- Conceptualize develop workflows to achieve project goals

**Qualifications**

**Required**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred
- Highly Experienced with programming languages such as Python, R, or JavaScript
- Strong knowledge of data visualization libraries and tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, D3.js).
- Familiarity with big data frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Solid understanding of data analytics techniques, statistical methods, AI and machine learning concepts.
- Experience in database management (SQL and NoSQL) and handling geospatial data formats (GeoJSON, shapefiles).
- Strong initiative, innovation, communication and problem-solving skills.

**Preferred**:

- PhD in Data Science
- Proficiency in geospatial analysis tools (e.g., QGIS, ArcGIS, PostGIS)
- Experience with real-time geospatial data processing and streaming analytics.
- Familiarity with remote sensing data and imagery analysis.
- Knowledge or interest in planning concepts related to parks and public spaces
